Doghouse for Riley

Does anyone have a doghouse they are not using anymore? Riley is quickly outgrowing his and will be needing a bigger one before winter. We could go buy a new one, but I thought if someone had one they didn't use anymore then we could save some money. Does this sound like trading post? haha

My little monster

It was a toss up between a monster and a lion for Gavin's first Halloween. I did a costume try on and the fam voted for the monster. (Even though he was adorable in both)

Gavin and I went to mom and dad's house for trick-or-treat. (Shawn had to work and Aubrey was at her mom's house) Here's a picture of mom holding up Gavin's four arms.

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend was Gavin's first trip to the pumpkin patch! It was a perfect day to break out his new hat a mittens too :) (I can't wait for the Christmas tree farm!!)

Everyone had fun searching for a pumpkin that was just right.

Remember Riley when we first brought him home?

Here is the rascal now. Look at his ears! I swear one day we woke up and his ears were sticking straight up like this. They also look like they point into a triangle. What happen to our little lab ears?

He just got a new blue camouflage collar.

He has more energy then we can handle.

We still love him. (most of the time) lol

Cereal

Last week I started feeding Gavin cereal.

He is not very interested right now, but I am hoping with time it will get better.

It goes in, but he spits it right back out. Anyone have some hints?

At least he likes his big boy high chair. Yum, yum.

Bath time quickly follows his cereal mess. Just like his mom, he loves his bath. He has started splashing with his hands and feet and even laughs at himself when he does it. So cute!

Fair Days

Gavin's First County Fair! He enjoyed all the sights and sounds the fair had to offer.

Aubrey had another fun year at the fair. She rode all the big rides and ate all the fair food she can handle.

Mom's 50th Birthday Party

Last weekend the fam threw mom a birthday bash. We invited friends and family, had it catered by Dave Powers from CCMH (highly recommend if you are looking for a reasonably priced caterer with good food, he also did our wedding) and had a great big cake with 50 candles.
