Family gathering


Unfortunately my grandfather recently passed away. We attended funeral services in PA a couple of weeks ago. While we were there the family took some pictures. I wanted to share this picture of all of the grandchildren. It is wonderful to be apart of such a large and loving family.

MEADVILLE, Pa. — Andrew Stephen Gergley, 73, of 135 E. Victoria Road, Spartanburg, S.C., died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, after an extended illness.

Born June 28, 1935, in Sharpsville, Pa., he was the son of the late Andrew S. Gergley Sr. and Zelma Semperger Gergley, and husband of the late Anna Marie Dividio Gergley.Andrew's career included dairy farming and a plant supervisor at Pretty Products. He had a 25 year military career attaining Sergeant Major. Andrew was a highly decorated veteran. He retired from the 228th Signal Brigade in Spartanburg, S.C.Andrew was blessed with 10 children, Andrew (Kay) Gergley of Coshocton, Mark (Amy) Gergley of Columbus, Kimberly (Warren) Richards of Moore, S.C., Gary (Kris) Gergley of Zoar, Renee (Daniel) Lafferty of Moore, S.C., Diane (Martin) Dew of Spartanburg, S.C., Christopher (Rachel) Gergley of Pauline, S.C., Todd (Meredith) Gergley of Cincinnati, and Roseanne (William) Geen of Moore, S.C.

He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Joseph Dividio of Meadville, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Theresa San Felice and Rose Dividio, both of Erie, Pa.; 32 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Gergley; a brother, Thomas Gergley; and a sister, Helen Hollenbeck.
