Knowing the snow was about to blanket the ground, Shawn came home with a sled for Aubrey the other night. Can you believe this is her first sled? I can't. How does this lucky and spoiled little girl go with out a sled until almost 9 years old!!
I didn't know how long she would last outside today. She knew I couldn't physically get to involved except for a push here and there, but she continued to pull that little sled up, down, and around the hills.
Aubrey will be nine years old in March. I don't know why, but this picture shows me how big she is getting and how independent she is becoming. It is unreal I have been apart of her life since she was two years old. I am honestly the luckiest step-mom. I feel confident that Aubrey will be a wonderful and loving big sister soon.
