Gavin's room

TA-DA!

Here it is, Gavin's room is all ready. The only thing missing is him!

Shawn did a great job putting the furniture together. It took a little while to collect the pieces, but I am very pleased with the style and quality of the set.

Here is where I plan on rocking my adorable baby to sleep. Shawn and his mom purchased this glider and ottoman for my baby shower. The plan was for it to be delivered to Diane's house and she would take it to the shower, but it was on back order forever. It did finally arrive a couple of weeks ago and her wonderful husband put it together for us. Thanks Jimmy!

Boy, the green sure does glow in this picture doesn't it? My painter, Charlie, and his helper I think were a little worried about my paint choice at first (I was too). Fortunately, I think it looks much better after they put up the border and everything else was brought into the room .


Here is his closet. Everything has been washed and organized. I am sure this nice and neat area will not last very long.

So there it is, what do you think? I feel everything is ready to bring a newborn home. (At least that is what Shawn keeps trying to tell me.) I am still looking for a shelf to put up and display some items, but I am sure Gavin will not mind if it is not up by the time he gets here.
