John Deere Birthday Bash

This past Sunday we celebrated Gavin's 1st birthday in a big John Deere plowing way.
Here are before pictures, but soon the church fellowship hall filled with friends and family. Even a couple of surprise visitors from South Carolina!
We had a farmers favorite dinner of fried chicken, cheesy potatoes, corn, and baked beans.

As a favor, our guest took home a flower. The garden lady said they would all bloom for the party, but only a few did. They looked more like corn sprouts. I guess it was theme appropriate.
Gavin's cake from Litty's. Yum Yum! Half of it was chocolate with rasberry filling and the other half was white with strawberry filling.

What can I say, my son can pack away the cake.

We did not open all gifts at the party, but here is Gavin on his new John Deere 4-wheeler that his Aunt Lisa got him.
Thank you everyone who helped celebrate Gavin's birth. See you next year! Also, a huge thank you to my mom who helped plan the party. She is a great party organizer and cook! Love ya
