Gavin is finally here!!!

Hi Everybody! Gavin is finally here! This is Gavin's Aunt Kayla, I am going to try to keep all you bloggers updated on how the Locke family is doing while they are still at the hospital.

Gavin arrived at 2:58 p.m. He is a big and healthy boy- 8lbs. 2 oz. and 22 inches long! His hands and feet must come from Shawn because they are huge! And I think he has Angela's eyes and lips. Shawn and Angela arrived at the hospital at 5:30 this morning so she could be induced. She was getting really irritable and tired and her contractions were getting really strong so at about 11:30 she got an epidural (thank God!). Angela did an awesome job throughout the labor process. She should be a proud mom. Shawn was really nervous and paced all day and tried to keep a lot of people updated on how things were going, but when it was time for the baby to arrive he was right at Angela's side to encourage and comfort her. I am so lucky to have been in the labor and delivery room to see all the action! I was able to get a lot of pictures so as soon as I become a better blogger I can post some more. I'll let Angela post more details later... there is so much to tell and so much excitement I can hardly stand it!
