Our loss

Today we remember Sadie Locke. Our super puppy was hit by a car and passed away today. I cried the day Shawn brought her home,(remember I was 7 months pregnant) but she sure did make her way into my heart. She now lays to rest behind our garage. Shawn wrapped her in a blanket, Aubrey drew a picture and included some nice words and I put in the picture we took of her, me, Aubrey, and Gavin. I've lost a couple of family pets in the past, but never this way. It's not fair. We thought that the puppy who survived parvo would have lived longer than 6 months. I would like to find the person who hit her and give them a piece of my mind, but it probably wouldn't help. We miss you Sadie and will remember you forever.
